Drop D tuning?

Drop D tuning?

How can I do the drop D tuning? I am a newbie. Need help. JON

tune your E string down i full step...when you hold the seventh fret of that string, it should sound the same as the open A string...

or just use a tuner and tune it down to D. easy enough.
