It's a quick slide not a hammer so it's all index.

Like DMBFan63 said, you need help for so damn lucky, not some devil, I think. If you do need help on SDL, then yes, you barre with youre index and hammer with your ring and pinky, its tricky at first and maybe not the first song to start out with if youre a beginner. But thats how dave (and I) play it.

Just sing the guitar part while you attempt to play it. helps me. if you know what you wanna do, its easier for the body to follow.

Yeah, getting the words and guitar right with SDL can be very tricky.
Forget about the reasons and the treasons we are seeking
Forget about the notion that our emotions can be swept away, kept at bay
Forget about being guilty, we are innocent instead
For soon we will all find our lives swept away

I cant really sing along to a lot of the songs, but this is one song that I could sing along to almost as soon as I learned it, kinda weird. Maybe Im gettin better with the whole singing and playing thing, probably not.

Duh-dum-dum da-dum da dum da,

Everything's different......
