Two Step jam

So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

Two Step jam

Unread post by Rweden36 » Mon Jun 14, 2004 4:06 pm

Hey, I was just listening to this version of two step, and I don't when it was, it only says live in grand rapid, MI. anyways it was an awesome dave solo in it, (I assume it dave and not tim because its acoustic and it with the full band) anways it really sweet and i was wondering if anyone had heard and maybe had a general idea of a tab. Anything would be appreciated, thanks

Two Step pisses me off ...

It's completely straight forward and yet when I play it, it sounds like two raccoons fighting over a dirty diaper.

With the exception of "Warehouse" (another song that is kicking my ass), I'm getting better at playing DMB songs.

Two Step just doesn't sound right on my new guitar (LoPrinzi M20) and EXPs. I'm not talking about tonality but rather I just don't know whether or not to mute the D string all the time. Sometimes it sounds like it needs it and others it doesn't. I need to seriously sit down and analyze the song and see where it should ring open and where it should be muted.

Nice simile.
Forget about the reasons and the treasons we are seeking
Forget about the notion that our emotions can be swept away, kept at bay
Forget about being guilty, we are innocent instead
For soon we will all find our lives swept away
