Is Dave your favourite guitar player/songwriter? What's the most talented acoustic guitarist beside Dave? I personally have Bob Dylan on second place. Dave is number one.

you cant say whose the most talented. its all preference. tim reynolds is better at solos, but whose better at rhythm? you cant compare because its on 2 levels. as for songs in general i think dave is the best. his lyrics are the best ive heard. his music is great, but there are people who do better.

I cant say that dave is the best guitarist, but I think that he does have the best rythm of most people ive heard. He's also writes the best music and lyrics, in my opinion.

While Dave is not my absolute favorite to listen to, he is my personal favorite in terms of playing guitar. I like Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin and Jimi Hendrix more than DMB, but none of them can compare (in terms of my enjoyment) to playing some of Dave's kickass rhythms.

dave is nowhere near most talented guitarists in any way, shape or form and he is certainly not my favorite...for the love...DIVERSIFY!!!

I like dave's style better than anybody else. Such a percussive way of playing is awesome.

Dave has a unique style. His (sometimes strange) way to play guitar makes it so cool to play his songs. He uses a lot of different techniques and this makes every single song sound different.

But what's about other guitarists who play the ACOUSTIC guitar?

Bob Dylan is really great, but not from the point of view of the guitar skills and Dashboard Confessional is not really compareable to Dave. So Who else might make competition to Dave Matthews???
