soundhole pickups

umm.. i dont know about magnetic or whatever, but i have an L.R. Baggs on my godin which sounds great. fishman pickups are good too. look at some of those.

I'm not an expert on pickups, but it sounds like you're confusing two things.....soundhole pickups and under the bridge pickups (the one's inside the guitar). From what I've heard you would want to go with the one's that go inside the guitar.
