DMB tour of the uk??

So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

DMB tour of the uk??

Unread post by cornhairboy » Thu Mar 25, 2004 4:40 pm

Guys... Im from the uk and ive been listening to Dave for about 4 years possible longer but whats more important is has he ever played a UK tour!?!?!? If not why not, and do you think he should come to the uk and play??

I really want to gather support for him to come and play here and we are missing a huge part of him in our music!

Im trying to rally this support as I think the DMB will totally take off over here. Im at the university of reading and nearly everyone ive spoken to has heard of him... so why hasnt he come over?!?!?!

Cheers Guys!!

they did a tour in europe around 1995, I think. They had scheduled some dates in 2001, along with australia and mexico, but 9/11 happened. The other thing is dmb didn't have control with their music outside of the US, and BMG and RCA fought with the band (not publicly). Dave still did the instore performance at Virgin Records in 2001 in england.

Anyways, the band now has their own freedom to sign up with anyone they wanted outside of the US, RCA and BMG gave in (this news isn't even a month old). I bet in the next few years, they will return.
Yes, I am in a box

I would expect a european tour after the release of the next album. Would make sense atleast.

I saw Dave at Union Chapel (10.25.2001). He also played at Hanover grand but I missed it. It would have been good to see the whole band.
I hope they come around...I need to see the whole band dammit!
