Captain help

Unread post by bugman96 » Tue Feb 25, 2003 1:14 am

Ok. Looking at the dmbtabs.com tab of Captain, I can definitely hear that in an mp3 I have of Crazy. However, listening to the Lillywhite Sessions Captain, I don't hear that part in the of the verse line that switches real fast from the A to the other chords (0:09 - 0:14) in Captain1-Crazy1.avi

Is it not there in the LWS version or am I crazy?

Glad that's straightened out. Now for the followup:

Does he still play the A chord fast and then hang on the first chord of the verse twice before starting the verse over again? (If that makes sense)

Thanks for all the help.

Ok, I modified the exisiting tab to the BS version, added a few minor/necessary details..(ei: 2 verses, a slide in "Oh my love..", added a new part-"play with me again")

I find this to be exact to the album cut, for the previous versions you'll just have to adjust these parts to fit with whatever version it is...

I should submit this to jkanter...

anyway hope this finds everyone well...

I'm at work so i can't try it. But the slide is just what i was looking for. It always seemed like there was another chord, i just could never figure out what it was. Looking forward to playing later. Tanks Bradah....

Everybody always asks me how she's doing. Has she really lost her mind? I said "I couldn't tell you, I've lost mine."

hmmmm...I don't know john?, it works for me and it's the way the original jkanter tab was,

if I could do a vid, I would - but I cant.... :?

it's like 2 quick strums on the A, then muted, then 2 quick on the E, then muted, then go into the quick slide and the rest....(prob doesn't help :? )

can someone do a vid?
