Why I Am (BW sessions version)

Hey, I was talking in a thread over on ants about how I like the "Scenes from BW" why i am much better. Dave plays a really cool bridge instead of the standard power chords. I've looked at this video for about 40 minutes and I just can't figure it out. Dave's fingers move much too quickly and in ways I cannot get mine to move. I've cropped the video from youtube, and inserted a slowed down version of just dave playing to try to get positioning on the fret board. Thanks in advance. I just can't do it. Here's the link to the video I made. I'd appreciate any help; I just can't figure this out.
