hardest song to play:
Satellite
I cant play it for the life of me, and i can play just about every other dave song. Busted Stuff is not a problem, let you down is hard, so is you never know, also songs like loving wings, i just cant get it to sound like the way dave plays it. oh well, back to practicing
peace

at the point that i'm at i'd say warehouse is the hardest dave song i'm trying to play... just cant get the damn muting down, sounds awful
havent tried a lot of ones mentioned, i learned the rest of Tripping Billies but havent even tried the verse yet, looks INSANE
The first dave songs i learned were crash, TS, too much, bartender was real easy, and of course proudest monkey, and i recently discovered how easy halloween was to play, that was suprising.... I just need to master PNP, and when i can play warehouse i'll really be happy

when the world ends. its just such a bouncy, rhythmic song and daves singing is always in and out of time. very hard. now i just play, no more singing of wtwe. impossible i declare. ingeneral, its hard to sing dave stuff i think. his irregular voice is hard to try to match up w/ sometimes but, that is what makes dave the DAVE isnt it. well, im gone. class time.

definately agree. WTWE verse is impossible. I've tried and failed too many times. The chorus and bridge I can handle its just that damn verse. oh well.ryopan wrote:when the world ends. its just such a bouncy, rhythmic song and daves singing is always in and out of time. very hard. now i just play, no more singing of wtwe. impossible i declare. ingeneral, its hard to sing dave stuff i think. his irregular voice is hard to try to match up w/ sometimes but, that is what makes dave the DAVE isnt it. well, im gone. class time.

i actually find that the easiest ones to sing with are the hardest most intricate ones to learn. cuz in order to play w/o singing they have to be drilled in your head, and when its time to sing, you know it soo well that its easy. That made no sense at all.
