Cigarret Lit - Raised B

So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

Here's what I was thinking. I'm not sure about the pre-chorus and chorus though, and definitiely the post chorus is wrong, but as you said, the guitar is so drowned out. But hopefully this will give those of you better than I am at this something to work with.

I did this with a standard guitar, capo VII, so the notes on the 1st string may sound complete wrong in raised B.

I know this over a year old, but I don't get the verse in outro. If you did capo on 7, are the chords on the 9th, 10th, 11th frets relative to the capo?

Yeah, everything would be relative to the capo, though this would be just about impossible to actually play with a capo on VII. I mean, fret 12 would actually be 19, so it doesn't really lend itself to capo. I was able to figure this out by capoing an electric (with a cutaway that lets me up that far) at VII. This TAB was really meant for anyone not too lazy to have a guitar in raised B.

Like I said, I pretty much suck at tabbing by ear so I'm actually embarrassed that this has resurfaced! :)

No problem. I have a cutaway acoustic, so I can actually reach that far, but I won't. Thanks for the tab though.

There seems to be alot of different ideas on the tabs for Cigarette Lit so here is my two cents. This is for those of you who do not want to retune your guitar to raised B or want to capo on the 7th fret and play clear up on the 17th 18th and 19th frets. So this is just transposed to a standard tuned guitar. But please be aware that some of the notes may be an octave lower then Dave plays them but when I listen to the version of the song I have it sounds like he is in standard tuning anways so here is my first official tab on this site . P.S. I'll try and post Tim's part later
