DMB Future Cover Songs

So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

DMB Future Cover Songs

Unread post by djmpb3441 » Sat Aug 08, 2009 3:58 pm

everyone knows that dmb does awesome covers of songs...what covers would you like to hear them do?

personally in memory of michael jackson i think that they could do a cover of a song called monkey business. it is not a really popular song, but it totally fits the dmb personality and the horn section part of the song would sound amazing, and at the end of the song have a tim solo...i think it would be amazing. here is a link to the video for the song: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fOmFLzC_ZHU&feature=fvw

I would really like to hear them do a cover of Shine On You Crazy Diamond by Pink Floyd... gives them a lot of room to jam, especially tim & jeff. It's a shame butch left (and leroi, of course)

Message in a Bottle. It would fit Dave's style of playing very well.

For one of the shows I was at, one of the sound check songs they did was Paradise City. I'd like to see them do that.

I think they could pull it off. Axl sings pretty low during the verses, not his normal high pitched tone. And GN'R used to play with a full band with sax and everything. Sorry, I know alot about GN'R, GN'R and DMB are my two musical obsessions.
