Dave experiences.

So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

Dave experiences.

I just toked it up and realized why Halloween is such an amazing song. I'm sure most of you blazers have found the same thing, as well as other songs. I don't know why I am writing this, but I just figured I would share a good Dave experience. I think everyone on this board should write a little something about their favorite Dave experience.

I don't smoke up, or drink(yeah I know, Boring!) but I gut chills when I listening to the bridge of Ants on Storytellers, Dave strumming away, and Timmy just being Timmy and settin' fire to his guitar with his mad ass skills! I don't know if I would call that an experience or anything, but that version of Ants is just bad ass, so I had to say what it does to me when I listen to it ;-) I think I might have to listen to it right now :-D

Hmm, can't say that I blaze up all that much. The last time I did though, I happened to be listening to BTCS. Along the lines of the first post, I enjoyed Halloween quite a bit while feeling "happy". However, what makes that part of the album so effing brilliant is the segue from Halloween ---> The Stone. Then followed by Crush, Dreaming Tree, Pig and then Spoon! How could you go wrong?! Listening to the second half of that album is special enough, but it's something quite good with herbal enhancers is friggin sweet!

The firt time I listened to Dave and Tim 3-14-99....Jesus that is an awesome concert. 1st song is the best version of 2 step I've ever heard, followed by an amazing crush, the stone/can't help falling in love...and so on. Also guests Bob Weir and Santana. Great encore, If I had a boat-->Ants. Worth finding.

at a show in december when i heard dave play some devil. i kinda liked the song but not a lot. then i realized how far he's come, he was on the stage totally alone with one spotlight on him infrom of thousands of people and i really admired him at that moment. and i really listened to the song for the first time, and it was so emotioinal.

also when i got the warehouse 5 volume 2. i listened to the stone. and i felt the awesome POWER of that song. no one can ever perfrom that song like he does. it is amazing, i deffinately got mega goosbumps from that.

I would have to say the Dave and Tim version of Crush from the Some Devil bonus Cd is by FAR the best jam sesh the two of them have done since LALC....absolutly breathtaking when Dave starts singing/yelling durring the end jam..u had to have ordered the CD from the web site to get Crush and D.I.D.O ...but its worth it...absofuckinlutly!

Ive been on a BTCS kick recently, every song fits perfectly. I never use to give Pig and Spoon as much of a listen but those 2 songs are very powerful (yes especially when blazed) for slower songs, ive grown to love them, dave sure knows how to put the emotion in his songs...
I gotta admit though, after seeing DDTW this summer and watching CP, i tend to skip over track number 4 more often than not.
and yes. halloween is the shit....smoke pot....

I would have to say that the jam on two step, 3-14-99 is by far the best. Have you guys heard that concert?
