grace is gone fingerpicked

grace is gone fingerpicked

I've watched the farm aid video of grace is gone and had a look at the tag of jkanter. I can follow the tab, when dave doesn't sing and just plays. But when he sings, he plays something different than in in the tab. something more simple, like a pick of a single note and a following single strum.
What does he exactly play there?
Any help appreciated. thanx.

check that tab out... this is the one i am learning to play... it seems to me a bit easier to follow....

As mentioned before. I can follow your tab when dave doesn't sing. But when he sings the verses, I think he plays something different than your tabs say. I think it is more simple. on farm aid video, it is from 0:52-1:01, 1:14-1:23, 1:33-1:44
