New Rhyme and Reason horns?

So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

New Rhyme and Reason horns?

Unread post by dmb6743 » Sat Nov 22, 2008 10:44 am

Anybody figure out a guitar tab for the new horn section in Rhyme and Reason they were doing this year? It was right after Tim's solo if memory serves correct, thanks!

I assume you're talking about the badass horn lick they played @ Rothbury, among other places? They played a few different ones throughout the year, but I think the Rothbury one was played at most. Anyways, this is what I got:

Code: Select all

---------------------------------------------
--15---11----13--11--------------------------
---------12----------------------------------
---------------------------------------------
---------------------------------------------
---------------------------------------------
They play that a few times, and than repeat the last three notes a little at the end. I was kinda doing hammer ons and pull offs to the first note (think Jerry Garcia) to try to imitate the exact way they play it.

Well that's informative. And no, it's not wrong. Are you thinking of a different horn line?
