Trippin' Billies Question(its a quick one though)

When playing the chorus, at the first little run do you guys do the slide from the 3xx4/7xx7 or do you hit a 5xx6 right in the middle? I've always hit a 5xx6 but i noticed after watching stortellers that he might be sliding which may give good reason for the tab. I just hate figuring out that i've been playing a song wrong! Like Rapunzel! (thanks Dusty)

Yes, he is slidding right to the 7xx7, there is nothing that you should play between that. Sorry to hear you were playing it wrong, it happens to everyone! ;-)

And yes, Dusty (Ole) is the fucking man right now!

And yes, once again, Timmy's hands FLY during that song, it's ridiculous how they move that fast. My mouth still drops to the floor when I see him play that solo, great stuff! 8-)

yeah its a slide, and yeah, i did it wrong for a while too

i think thats the whole reason he plays it that way, cause you could play it all with your 1 and 2 fingers, but its easier to do that slide and set up for the next parts with your 3 and 4 fingers - if you know what i mean...
