tab for run while we can?

So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

I got Boyd's riff as close as I could but it's a little sketchy because it's really hard to make out. The same with the chorus, it sounds like there might be some slight chord changes in there, but I got the basic structure of it down. Enjoy.

It sounds like the Taylor. Especially during the bit where he has his little guitar solo thing.

Thanks for the tab, but would anyone mind posting a video? I can't quite seem to get the timing right on boyds riff and a video would help out a lot. Thanks in advance for anyone willing.

I don't have a video camera right now, but I recorded myself playing the riff slow, and then at normal speed. So hopefully that will help

Hey, your tab looks close, but I think he plays two notes differently than you have tabbed. I think this sounds closer to what he plays (I play it down farther on the neck, but it's the same as yours, just a few notes different):

Code: Select all

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
--------10-10-10---------------------------------------------8-8-8-----------------------------
-------------------10-10-10------------10--------------------------9-9-9-------------9---------
-8-8-8-----------------------12-12-12-----12-10-8-7-7-7----------------10-10-10----10-8-7------
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Everyday should be a good day to die...
