typical situation help

typical situation help

this is the first fulkl song im trying to learn, which might not be smart, but during the verse i keep hittin the bottom two strings and im not supposed to.....any tips on how i should lay out my fingers or strumming

By bottom strings I'm assuming you mean the high E and B.

Try just strumming in the area that the top three strings are because those are the only strings that need to be hit.

Maybe also try to hit each note separately instead of an all out strum.

But best advice...practice. If youkeep playing it will get easier and easier....

yeah everything that cavecricket said and plus if you want to strum the notes you can mute the higher strings with you index finger by laying it over them. just incase you do it those strings by accident.
