you think? that'd be pretty tedious especially since for a little bit right after tuning (unless you stretch em to shizzle) they come out of tune a bit

Yeah, I would have to agree with you Matty, but I think that's what that Bald Roadie if for, LOL. I see that guy at every concert, so I guess he's got to have something to do. And changing strings might be one of them ;-) But that seem REAALLY tedious though, so I don't know about that either.

speaking of changing strings, i could use a lesson or two on how to do it properly, i havent changed the strings on my new guitar yet, and the ones on there came all prettily wrapped around the things( whatever they are called that they go through and wrap around) and when i changed them on my last guitar i got it done but it was far from pretty, any sites or anything somewhere i can look at?

I'd say that dave's roadies change his strings every other show.. or if there is an off day between shows, then is when they change them..
