Check out the tab available on this site, it's correct.

Here are the fingerings for it -

Code: Select all

----- ------- -------
----- ------- -------
--5-- [4] ---5--- [4] ---5--- [2]
--3-- [1] ---3--- [1] ---3--- [1]
--4-- [2] ------- -------
----- ---4--- [2] ---6--- [3]

on the chorus he switches up different ones. on the everyday cd, being that its a studio cd, he plays this

__3____3___3___3________3___3___3______________ (1)
_______4___x___5____________4___5____________ 4th fret use (2)
___________4___x________________x__________ 5th use (3)
use (2) one the low E

or live he as a tendency to switch these up

Well, I don't know what to say as to your studio version...But, every single live version I have seen....Each and every one....The chorus has been played the same way throughout. You may have seen another one or are just going by ear, but every one I have seen is played the way I have it. Again, your notes are correct and all that and it's another way to play the song, but I don't think it's how Dave plays it. I may be wrong though  .....peace

its whatever. it just dont make sense. i myself dont prefer what the everyday book says. i always play the live way. but someone said it was WAY OFF. well just play it. the first two are the same as this site says. but the last two have fuller sound than what this has. it sounds alot better when your playing with a drummer especially. because you need that fuller sound. and when i play by myself i just switch up between the two. but thats just me. and thats how its always gonna be. nobody should limit thereselves to just what dave plays exactly. everybody on these boards i'm sure have different tabs. this site provides alot of good tabs. just use them all to your advantage. i promise you, you will sounds alot better if you switch around with different chords(on most songs). just what i think.
