Good God---Warren Haynes tore it up on Cortez!!!!!!!!!

So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

yea, he is bad...what's even better imo is during jimi thing when carter is trying to end it but warren just keeps his solo going, that's when i took off my hat and threw it at the tv because i couldn't take anymore (the shirt came when dave started scattin)

hahaha... I didnt notice that he kept jimi thing goin, but he plays with the allman brothers band and they probally do that sorta shit all of the time. if you want to hear more warren then you should check them out. and dave's scattin is pretty damn funny for a while but he does it so much on C.P. that it can also get annoying.

I think he was good, but he showed off a little too much. You can see it in his performance, that cocky 70s rock style stuck it's head out a few times. I mean, he has talent, and plays great, but just the showing off part that some lead guitarists do turns me off. One of the reasons why I love Tim is that he is playing to play, and hope people likes it. He may do great solos that show talent, but look at him while he's doing it. He is focused on the guitar, and not the auidence. He plays for himself, like he would do at home, but does it in front of a crowd.

But, yeah, waren haynes is very good, and was very good at central park, and I would like to watch him again, or see him play again.

Get the LONE EP. It's his latest solo, and it's all acoustic. It's amazing.

Gov't mule is a good place to start, I'd recommend....DOSE first myself, it's my personal favorite. You can't go wrong with any, really.

I don't get that feeling at all. If anything, he was just really into the song. It's not like he was doing crazy Steve Vai licks all over the place, every note fit perfectly. I got chills a couple times myself.

I don't really think he was showing off either... In fact, I've heard much, much better stuff from him. He was only out there for two songs, hardly enough time for him to get warmed up.

From what I've seen of him, the longer he's on stage, the better he gets. And as far as being cocky, he's about as humble of a person as you could possibly imagine.

He's also the hardest working man in the music biz right now... it was just announced that he's going to play guitar with The Dead this summer. That's 4 bands (Allmans, Phil&Friends, Gov't Mule, and Dead) that he is a permanent member of - blows my mind.

Yeah---he was far from showing off. One word comes to mind when I think of his soloing----"beautiful". That's why I had to go out and buy one of his cd's. He knew how to just melody the hell out of the song. Reminds me of how Santana plays so eloquently without overdoing it.

The Dead are back? Holy shit! That's an acid party waiting to happen. I really regret not seeing the dead when Garcia was alive.

I didn't say the whole time he was playing like that, I meant for a few seconds everyonce in a while. Also, I didn't say he was cocky, just the style of what I was talking about just came out for a few seconds every once in a while. I said he was good, and I liked it, I was just saying for those few seconds everyonce in a while turned me off just a little. I wasn't saying he wasn't a hard working musician, or that he wasn't great up on there with dmb, or anything about himself personaly, just those few seconds every once in a while. I wouldn't mind going to a Goc't Mule show at all, either, I would love to go to one.

Check out Soulshine by Goverment Mule. Find a live version, and in the backround you can hear Timmy. The song is great and has a great southern comfort about it. I'm not too big on him though so i'm sure there are even more songs where he plays with tim.
