crash strumming (again)
crash strumming (again)
How many strums are there after the first base note...4 or 5??
I've seen a post that says it goes bass note, down, up, down, up, bass note, so on and so forth...which allows me hit the next bass note on time, but that doesn't sound right. If I try to do a bass note, down, down, up, down...it sounds right, but I can't hit that ext bass note quick enough. I've taken a look at Kanter's and Bo's vids but still can't quite tell. Thanks for the help!!

I'm not looking for a strumming pattern, just how many there are. Like I said, I can get the bass notes and the strum right after them dead on (like that takes a whole hell of a lot
)...just can't finish it off.
I think I'm seeing/hearing...bass note, strum, pause, strum, strum, strum, bass note. Just wanted to see if this is right.

How many strums there are is part of the strumming pattern. I have a copy of dave backstage playing it solo, if you want. It really is a simple song. Again, what you are asking for is the strumming pattern. You could also watch LS or Story Tellers, they give a good view of dave's strumming/picking hand.
Yes, I am in a box

you can try this program out.....It will slow MP3s down while keeping the right pitch. The trial version is free, but you can only play the first quarter of a song, which shouldn't be a problem with Crash
