Wise Men Say

So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

I've come across a short but kinda uplifting Dave/Tim tune called Wise Men Say. History anyone? Tab??

it's an outro to the stone that dave and tim play quite often...it just uses the same playing part as the chorus to the stone...do believe it's an old elvis song too
B+P by offer only...thank you

Right and Right...It comes from the song "Fools Rush In" (I hope that is the title). And it is just the chorus looped like 20 times, but I like it. D&T played it at thet D&F that I went to. Timmy was awesome with his bass-player-esque fills....

peace

I thought you had it there. Till you mentioned Elvis. Do you mean, "Wise Men Say..Only Fools Rush In....'Cause I can't help...(puuuuke)". That's not it if you do. There's no lyrics in this one, he kinda just wails in it and it sounds like something uplifting you may here passing through Zimbabwe...not that I've ever been to Zimbabwe, like.

I think the song is titled, "Can't help falling in love" Elvis did sing it, I believe UB40 did a cover of it that was quite popular in the late 80s/early 90s.

yes It was an Elvis song, yes UB40 did it, Regae style. And yes, finally it's the outro to the stone quiet often. And I like it. Although i don't like elvis' version. you all actually heard that???? It's horrid. Some elvis immpersonator was on TV a few weeks ago, Had a acoustic and sang Fools Rush in.... I was thinking, let's just give that song to dave... I love it as an outro to the stone. Amazing How things work out, Fifty Some years ago, Elvis sitting down writing the Outro to The Stone. :-)

Amen my good man. I just thing it sounds wonderfull as an outro, especially as an outro to The Stone. Which right up there with Warehouse is one of my favorite Dave Songs.

you guys are crazy. it's elvis's song and it always will be. elvis is amazing and broke the whole rock and roll thing right open. this song in question is simple lyrics and chords with awesome meaning.

i wish "YOU'RE CRAZY" was here...

The tune I've come across must be named incorrectly. I'll up load it a little later (when you guys have all woken up. I'm 6hrs ahead). I know what you'll all say...

"What that????!!...Ha ha!!! That's the chorus to" Crash or "Nancies" or something blatently obvious. Go easy on me...
