So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

i don't know of any artist who actually has any part in their tab books.
Vic Wooten did his "Best of Victor Wooten" a few years back. I saw it in a store, but didn't get it.

As to tab books, they're fairly accurate. I have a number of them, and when I compare them to this site, they are pretty much the same. For me, it's a little easier because I can see the lyrics along with the tab. It's just a matter of opinion.

But now I have to go get both parts.

yeah, sheet music is weird at times when the tabs are with it for multiple guitars...

hmm, that could be very good, only, I hope it would be less confusing than the books! I am sure jkanter could do it much better! :D

the tab books for any artist are very rarely done by the artist. In fact, most of the time all the transcriber has is the actual album.... Impressive
Sonmetimes I would try to catch her, but I never even caught her name.....

Anybody know when this book is actually released?I saw the "usually ships within 1 to 2 months" note. Just made me wonder if its even been released yet, cause no other sheet music store has it.

Heres my statement, I have the first book, Its perfectly accurate. And when people say that the others aren't accurate like 41 on crash, their right, thats not he plays it live, but that is what was recorded.

As discussed before-----these tab books are extremely accurate. The question is simple. Do you want to play like Dave or sound like Dave? If you want the look----the tab books aren't for you. If you just want to play his music and have it sound exactly like his songs, get the tab books.

Oh yeah---and the tab books not only show Dave's guitar parts, but also Tim's as well as translating the horns and violin arranged for guitar. Not to mention the strumming patters, rests, and timing are all in there. And one more added bonus---the melody line is in there for anyone who wants to play lead on the song.
