Crush Jam at the end of Radio City

So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

Its at the end of the original Crush tab...the strumming is a little wierd with that hammer-on, but this tab is correct

Code: Select all

E:---------------- E:---------------
B:---------------- B:---------------
G:------4-----4--- G:------4-----4--
D:------4-----2--- x2 then D:------4-----2-- x2
A:-0h2--2--------- A:------x--------
D:---------------- D:-0h2--2--------
I usually change the second part to..

Code: Select all

E---------
B---------
G-------4-
D--0h2--2-
A--0h2----
D--0h2----
because it sounds a little heavier.

hope this helps

thanks it does help...but if you watch the video...I see dave sliding up and down the guitar...for example he plays 1 measure by the first few frets...adn then the second measure by like the 8-12th frets.

Im pretty sure Dave is just playing

Code: Select all

E-----
B-----
G-----
D---9-
A---9-
D---9-
which is the same chord as

Code: Select all

E-----
B-----
G---4-
D---4-
A---2-
D-----
The chord at the 9 just sounds a little heavier and its easier to play

To get a little more to out of that part you can add this, with the right rhythm

Code: Select all

E-------
B-------
G-------
D---7h9-
A---7h9-
D---7h9-

And you are right, Dave does slide up and down the neck a few times between one of the measures
