daves early stuff came to me really easy for some reason .... the hardest stuff is his newer stuff for me, maybe becuase i just love his older stuff so much... the stretch for captain is damn hard

twostep is right on with that advice. when i started i jus played any little dave "riff" i could get. after a while u start to put full songs together and after an even much longer while u start to sing. i say go for satellite as soon as you can. doing that song opened up a world for me (stretch, picking, sex...well maybe not sex). good luck
