ok, shoot me if this has been brought up before. i find that the song sounds better or flows better if u hit the D string open after the 5/7 slide at the end of the verse. it kinda sounds like dave has done that before. have any or do any of u do this? if not, please ignore this as it could be my down syndrome kicking in. thanx.

I have done that a few times....i just play and whatever happense happens....if it works best for you, then play it that way! :) There is nothing wrong with making it your own!

I think he played the D open at the end on the Storytellers show , i don't remember though

i coulda sworn he played it on storytellers, but i cant prove it haha. but yea, it sounds better to me IMO, so i guess ill stick to it, thanx guys
