Is John Mayer a better guitar player than Dave Matthews?

So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

They only thing Dave has over John is voice range and lyrics. Also, Dave has a better band wich conquers over most right now because of musicianship.

There's a mp3. floating around of John Mayer doing a Dave Matthews vocal and guitar impression. The vocal sounds a lot like Dave, as does the guitar parody. John can play anything Dave can easily. I have no clue whether Dave could do the opposite. Oh well. Either way, Dave is awesome and Mayer is awesome, and Mayer can easily do what Dave could.

listen people, whoever said that dave cant play john mayer is crazy. dave doesnt want to play and john mayer, and if he sat down and wanted to learn one of his songs he could go ahead and do it. jm will bever be as famous or well known as dave. so take john mayers teeny bop music and get off the site if you like john more than dave. anybody can solo if they want too. dave doesnt need to, he enjoys his strumming, obviously. if you like jm fine, but i think he sucks. but dont go comparing things you dont even know.

Dave might be able to play John's tunes , yes , afterall Dave has been playing for many years now , but when you say John sucks , then you obviously don't know much about music ....

i'm a pretty much new player been playing a year have a martin acoustic electric and a telecaster and i can play a lot of john mayer stuff and its not that complicated its one of those bands who writes a lot of jumbled up hammering and stuff its decently easy but i mean dave puts some complicated chords in and goes effortlessly into them and i mean
