Damn, I'd give anything for a DM3MD(Except $4000, of course). Those babies rule. Dave's recorded like all his recent albums on one Only like 200 of the damn things have been ever made!

I am in the market either for a used 700 or 800 series, and I am not sure that I wanna shell out the $2000+ for that. I have seen them go on ebay for around $1400 for 700 series, and $1800 for the 800 series, but I am not sure that I wanna buy a guitar from an ebay auction...I am forlorned...

peace

Do you have any instances that you could mention so that I know more clearly what you mean?

i got my chet off e bay for $800. It was in perfect condition when i got it too. E bay really does a good job of making sure everyone gets what they pay for.

Are you being sarcastic at all or was that an honest statement? To me, things around here always seem to be said ambigously.

Ebay doesn't really care whether it's a good product of not.. they don't try to get you the best thing you can get.. you just deal with nice people, and you're lucky, some will try and dick you over

my bad, i didnt mean e bay will try to hook you up with a great deal or anything, i just mean that they try to make sure u dont get totally ripped off or anything. like they make sure that u get the product u pay for and not completely robbed of ur money.

I'd buy a guitar from a guitar shop. Not some anonymous person across the country.

i might buy a cheaper guitar off ebay, but if you're looking at a 700 or 800 series, i'd look for a used one you can see in person first. it might cost a little more than ebay, but it should be worth the money to make sure you are getting the nice guitar that a 700 or 800 should be...
