Looked like the two piece back to me when he flipped it around. Looks like the plain HD28-V headstock and rosette. The DM3MD is much flashier looking.
it looks great, but even better, it was his best sounding guitar as well IMO

Was it the Lakewood he used for live at Luther? I love that sound, so much bass but it works.

Yeah, Lakewoods are great guitars, but I prefer the DM3MD...
