I do have a florescent light but even when it's not on it still sounds like shit

I have a 15 watt crate amp, but i was also playing on a 15 watt Crate amp at guitar center and it sounded better. On my amp it sounds to cheesey and twangy. There's also a blue knob with effects and I have it on bypass

I was wondering what pedal Timmy uses for that space sound. I think its the Ernie Ball Mono Volume Pedal, I'm not sure tho.

No, that made perfect sense thats what I was trying but can't find the right place to make it sound right, but it has to be in the 2nd to 6th frets baecause thats what it looks like on the DVD. I knew it was something lower than Drop D Tunning because he plays that string alot to add some bass. Now ...
