Was it a DM3MD? I know it was a Martin, just wasn't sure it was a DM3MD. I wonder why he used the Martin in full band shows for YNK instead of the Taylor. For Dave fans it is "THE" Martin. It is the signature guitar of Mr. David J. Matthews. Read about it: http://www.harmony-central.com/Newp/SNAMM9...

The Official I suck at Dave Songs Thread

I wanted to start this as a way for those of you out there that suck at playing Dave songs to be able to sound off about how bad you are. Let me go first. I suck so bad that Dave would personally kill me if he ever heard me play one note from one of his songs. I suck so bad that ships within a ten m...

Neither are good, but marijuana has a larger effect on the mind than alcohol....drinking to access is bad too though...........the difference is, is that you can drink a beer and it wont affect you as much, because when you smoke, you are always trying to get that "release" from boredom or life's p...

If the three of you e-mail me at skiizalot@hotmail.com that would be great. There is a better chance of me catching the message since I do not check dmbtabs as often as I should/like.

Thanks guys,

Matt

They may have ended their downloads because of the new DMB taping policy. I would be interested in doing a b&p for you to get you started. Just in case you do not know. B&p means blank and postage. Go out and buy some CD-R's, and two envolopes (one buble sleeve, the other something the bubble sleeve...

Question of the day....

I have learned most of the Dave songs that I know from looking at the tab and then playing the Rhythm from memory. I am curious as to whether any of you do the same or if you think that playing along with the music helps you play them more accurately?

Oops, I was way off. Plan on taking out a student loan if you plan on using tickets up front. Check out the link http://www.ticketcity.com/liveinventory/home.asp?ptoload=m_performer.asp&item=sPerf&item_key=Dave%20Matthews Talk about corporate greed. I would have to sell a kidney and a nut to get tic...

Well

Usually the warehouse tickets, with all the taxes and fees, run right around 60 bucks per ticket. I am sure if you are really desperate to attend you can get tickets from http://www.ticketsupfront.com. But plan on pay between 400-600 a ticket for the first 20 rows and 200-500 for rows behind the fir...

Kevin, As of this minute I am probably putting in for Wisconsin and Michigan. I saw DMB and Tim on 11/4/98 at the Tacoma Dome, which I might add, is the worst place ever to see a concert. The sound bouncing off the top of the dome really sucked. I saw Tim solo Oct of 2001 at the Crocidile in Seattle...

Kevin, you hit the nail on the head. The only thing that I think you could add is the fact that most warehouse members sell their tickets for face value plus the misc taxes. You are not bursting my bubble by any account. I might put in for tickets just to see if I get lucky and hook up somebody that...

Oh yeah, that TBA show better be the Performing Arts Center in Anchorage Alaska or I'm breaking all my guitars and taking up needle point (don't hold me to that).

Warehouse

When I renue my membership at the end of this month, it will be the fifth year of my warehouse membership. Usually that means I get sweet tickets to every show I put in for. Unless, of course, the Warehouse uses the same lottery that they used for the Seattle solo show that I didn't get tickets for ...
