I've thought about doing something like this, but I have a horrible microphone and my sax sounds bad being recorded by it.

Edit: Sounded pretty good. It can be tough to play improv on a song... I've tried.

Overall, I think the song is pretty solid and flows together well. I would point out that at 1:43, there really needs to be a small transition into that section. I was really getting into the music and enjoying the patterns and then all of a sudden this spot that didn't sound like it belong was there.

Beauford, you're posts are not helpful at all. Instead of telling someone they need to count over and over again why don't you point them to something where they can learn how to? Personally, counting never really helped me figure out the strumming patterns. It was mostly just listening to the song ...

I can do a sax part for #41. It will be an Alto Sax though since it's all I own. But I can make it work. All I will need is a mp3 that has the rhythm and vocals in it so that I can sync up my fills with it so that they overlap well.

Well Firedancer, I live in Fort Wayne also. Not sure if you checked out Music Star, but they sell Taylors. They don't have a very big selection but they sell them.

I'm having a tough time deciding between the two. They both sound great to me.

I generally have to use coated because the uncoated tends to make my fingertips grey/green and fungal looking after the stuff rubs off onto them.

I thought it sounded pretty good. Yea those high spots are always going to be a hassle. Other then that, I really don't see any issues.

After listening to it a couple times... the thing that jumps out at me is that I don't feel like the guitar playing is meshing with what you are singing. The style of the two don't compliment each other very well. I think this is because it could be that what you are playing and what you are singing...

I probably wouldn't post tabs to some of the songs as they are his originals and if someone not to honest were to get ahold of them they could pretend it was theirs instead of Hans. As far as the songs go, again, awesome job! Would be awesome to be able to jam with you sometime. Keep the stuff comin...

Went to Guitar Center today and saw the Boss BR-532. It looked pretty sexy there on display. I think I'm going to worry about a better guitar before one of these though.
