Thanks, that's really what I needed. Anything more is just icing on the cake.

Can someone explain the motif in the song. I know that Dave plays the main melody, which repeats, but I don't know how many notes are in it or if it even qualifies to be called a motif.

If someone just knows the meter of the song, that will help a lot. 4/4 or whatever.
