I was thinking that It would be an excellent solo before the song. It would kick all forms of ass by itself, building up into the song. I could envision it going into different parts. Maybe with some sort of beat slowly building it up. Only to drop back down at the begining of the song. I don't know...

Yeah I was trying to convey that to my Bass player, but he wants none of it. Originaly it was supposed to be a little more depressing of a song. It seems it has been turned into more of a Jam band song though. I guess I just want to know if my feelings on the song are justified or not.
