wow, that looks JUST like my tak, only the specs are much better. I'd choose that tak, because it's so much more versitile than the chet. 1) you can play the tak unplugged and it will sound beautiful. 2) you can play the tak plugged and it will sound beautiful. Either way you look at it, get the tak.

Heh, I got both :P. I like my Art & Lutherie for a deep accoustic resonate sound, then plug my EG541SC in for some bright, fun jamming.

I had a problem with a rattling bridge once, most likely there's some screw in the bridge that isn't tight enough (thats what happend to me) so you just bring that baby in to your local guitar shop and tell them to fix it.

lol, my friend and I were talking about his new electric guitar and the strings he has to use to keep it in baritone tuning. "Man, those 12's are so damn heavy, i can barely fret those damn things at the first fret!" he said. I looked at him quizzically and said "...I use 13's for standard tuning an...

getting an art and lutherie? That's one of the best choices you can make when you're looking for quality low priced dreads. When I got an A&L as my first guitar, I hated it with a passion for a year. The action was too freaking high. But I got my A&L's action lowered at a local guitarshop and they a...

I'd have to agree with Shane. Although there is not much of a difference between Alvarez, Takamine, and Ibanez. The quality of workmanship on the guitar tends to decrease in that order. If you get an Ibanez, you won't be kicking yourself over the difference, but Alvarez is the best in that price ran...

just work on it. That F bar can really be hard to do, even for experienced players, But all you have to do is work on that one chord change over, and over, and over... and over... and you'll get it with the added plus of strengthening your left index finger.
