an instrumental jam....

I jammed this out yesterday, it's a little weird(key changes, & tempo changes). I'm still not exactly sure how I feel about it, but either way it was fun to play. Tell me what you think:

lovely job on the song. Your guitar playing is spot on, and her voice is really good....has a haunting quality to it....which fits the song perfectly. Do you two have any other songs?

Can I get a tab and the lyrics to this? I'm still tabbing it out, but here's the lyrics: It sounds like a love song, but it's a little darker, tell me if you like em': [quote] Lay your rifle down, I've only come for the winter There's a storm three miles south and I thought I would just stay here a...

I really like this song, it's got an original sound. The guitar part sounds jack johnson-ish, but the vocals remind me of Leaonard Cohen & Tom Waits(two very cool singers). Is there a mando in the backround? or is that a capo-ed acoustic? either way nice work-

Hey thanks!!!

I've seem to have lost the lyrics for it, so I'll have to re-write them down. I'll get the tab & lyrics up in the next day or so. Thanks again!

BTW- I'm re-recording this song in a studio soon, what do you think it needs for instrumentation?

been a while.....an original of mine

Long time, no see. Heres a song I recorded a few weeks ago, it's got alot of bass freq. in the vocals that didn't get rolled off....so when you listen to it I would turn down the bass down on your player(cause all that bass in the voice sounds bad). Anyways, tell me what you think- http://www.tomcad...

New song(with Banjo)

Here's a quick little recording I did yesterday morning. It's a new song of mine, with the banjo. There was only one mic, so my voice is louder than the banjo, and the High string on the banjo seemed to be louder than the other strings....but tell me what you think anyways- http://www.tomcadaret.com...

sounds good, but I'm gonna go with everyone else & say that the words sound a little jumbled & the rythym gets off at a few points. She has a great voice, and your guitar part fits the mood. Nice job & Nice song, just needs a little tightening.

you may think that tom sounds good, but i can tell from just listening that he's probably hurting his voice. Yea, people have told me that before...but my singing has only improved(in my opinion) over the last couple of years. I put my voice through alot of stress(performing every week/singing ever...
