Acoustic amps
Anybody know much about acoustic amplifiers - whats good and what the prices are? At the moment I have a small peavey as well as a yahamaha T-100 all tube head hooked up to a 4X12 half stack. In both cases my acoustic sounds a bit schrill when i plug in.

On any fretboard, especially rosewood, you should clean it whenever you change your strings. Most places recommend lemon seed oil. I'm pretty sure you can buy it at the grocery store. Many companies make fretboard cleaner, that is mostly lemon seed oil. Just run a thin bead all the way up the finger...

I would say that it gets easier as you get used to it. It's almost like I am pinching the E sting (C in this case) to the fret board with the side of my thumb's knuckle. Also i think that in this song you only have to get that thump from the E string and not worry too much about the sustain, so you ...

when I was learning it I slowed it down alot. Some media players allow you to slow a song down and maintain the pitch. It took me quite a while and pissed alot of people off. I play with my thumb fretting whatever is on the E string tuned down to C, but i have seen people play it with "bar"ish type ...

This time of year you can expect some buzzing, the temperaure and lack of humidity makes your neck warp back bow or vice vesa so the frets get closer to the strings making it buzz. Usually you can see by placing the guitar on its side and looking directly down the side of the fret board. You can see...

I'm using a Dampit. and I havent had any problems with it or my guitar. I just run the wormy looking thing under some water then blot off the excess with a towel and clip it to the low E string if I have it out, or it usually comes with a sound hole cover that you can clip it to and it will hang ins...
