Tabs gone, site dead??
After over a decade of using this awesome site, I come check recently looking for a tab, only to find all the tabs gone, and hardly any recent posts in the forums since over 5 years ago. Such a shame as these were the best, most accurate DMB tabs out there. Hopefully the lawyers didn’t pay a visit a...

Thank your for the response, very informative. I think I know what your getting at when you say "The idea is to carve out a path for each instrument (including vocals) to be clear and easily heard". For example, if the vocals are in a frequency range of 80 Hz to 1100 Hz, does that mean I want to red...

Separate speakers for guitar and vocals??
Is it generally best to have seperate speakers, one for guitar and one for the mic?? Some of the common acoustic amps come with a channel for guitar and one for mic. I'm not too experienced with live sound but I'm going to be going live soon so I'd like to know which is the most desired setup for qu...

Dave and Tim's signal chain
Can anyone please link me to, or tell me Dave's signal chain, and Tim's too if you know it. For when they are doing D&T shows, but only curious to Daves when he's with the band too. I know Dave uses a Fishman Matrix UST, but after that where does it go? Most important is what amp/PA/Speaker he uses ...

If I had a boat question
I'm having a little trouble knowing what part goes where. To me the whole song sounds like the chorus, and I can't seem to find where ther verse is. Can someone please tell me what parts are played when?
Thanks

Angel from montgomery key
If it is indeed in G, shouldn't the F(in chorus) be a F#?? It would make sense, acorrding to key charts, that the key of F would be the key that has all the right chords in it, no? Obviously in the key of G the chord progression is more the typical 1-4-5 type, but then what do you call the F when it...

Time signatures
Can someone please try to explain time signatures to me in a simple way?? I know that the top number is how many beats are to the bar and the bottom number is the time value of each beat, but I have a hard time truely understanding the bottom number and how to apply it to my music writing and playin...

HOW TO CONVERT .SHNF TO SOMETHING I CAN LISTEN TO
I have aquired a few shows that are .shn and I don't know what to do with them so I can make them .wav or .mp3 or anything audiable. Any help? Also any sites with free shows?? I don't have anything really to trade as all my shows were taken from that free site a while back, so I'm pretty sure eveyon...

Effects on Daves Mic from L@LC
Wharehouse, the begining, when he is fucking around with his voice, sounds like he has reverb or echo/delay on the mic line. I could see him also playing around with one of those directional mics, like moving in and out of the field of pick up, while singing, but i've tried that and it doesn't sound...

I hope Jason remembers how bad drugs are the next time he has a sip of beer, or a cup of coffee, or a can of coke, or inhales second hand smoke, or has a headache and takes an asprin.... We're a self-medicating society, and opinions are based on what drugs the government says is an ok drug, or not ...
