it's actually not too bad if you sit down and practice a bit, like FTT if you keep the rhythm and remember the words it's easy to tackle

The way to explain this is very simple. It's in Am but the IV chord (D) is major not minor. I don't want to get over your head here but that harmony relates to a different key than A natural minor. Oh sorry for being vague, by why I mean why/how is it in the key of Am/C? Do you look at the keys of the chords rather than the individual notes that make up the chords? because C/Am has no sharps right? so the chords having no sharps is how you came up with that i'm guessing? or i'm way off

Just pick what feels most comfortable for you ya know , you don't have to do everything like everyone else .... Do what feels the most comfortable for you instead , it'll make it easier on you ....
