HD-35 v. 810 (no electronics on either)
This is simple. Just pick one and explain why you like it. I've spent a lot of time and effort narrowing down my choices and have arrived at these two. The sound of the HD-35 is booming just like a Martin should be. The Taylor 810 has new top bracing which is a HUGE improvement over the 810's made b...

I'll do that since I get free long distance. What/Who is "dave's guitars"? Do you mean a retailer or dave matthews? I already do know that a D-35 is $1499 and an HD-35 is $1874. Both of these are as of October 2 and they are factory new and include the guitar, the 640 molded case, all paperwork/warr...

--->I'VE NARROWED IT DOWN EVEN MORE!!!!! *APPLAUSE*
Well, well, well...I just got back from Sam Ash Music that took me TWO FRIGGIN HOURS TO GET TO!!!! %$@#$%&.....well, anyways...I played a D-28, HD-28, and a D-35...I almost spewed in my denim...I am totally convinced now that Martin kicks the shit outta Taylor's as far as tone is concerned. The D-35...

Hey man where did you get such a big pic of that guitar? I'm only wondering because I just recently went to that site and found some really nice pics of other guitars but I forgot to bookmark it. If Hendrix can't remember the site, do any of you other guys know where to get high resolution pics of M...

Martin Question
It seems like every few responses I read to any questions about Martins that someone says that they are "hit or miss" in terms of their quality. Does this mean that some are just made better and sound better than others? Is this because of lower quality standards that Martin has or something? Also, ...

--->I'VE FINALLY NARROWED IT DOWN!!!!!! *APPLAUSE*
I've decided to either go with a Martin D-35 ($1449), a Martin HD-35($1879), or a Taylor 810E (no cutaway, expression system electronics). I have a few questions that you guys can hopefully fill me in on. 1) Is the HD-35 worth the extra $400? (If Timmy Reynolds plays a regular D-35 I would think its...
