Looking at getting a taylor that is maple or another guitar that has rosewwod back and sides. What are some pros and cons to these woods?

I tried to search for this topic but didn't come up with anything. Just curious if anyone knew who dave's muscial influences are or were?

looking to find some new fun artists to learn. I want to learn some nick drake and other stuff like that but can't find anything usefull. Any other band rec ommendations would be great
