Re:

I think my favorite studio moment is UTTAD Ants Marching, right after the violin solo where Roi comes in. It's perfect I'll have to agree with this statement. Of course, I've always thought that Ants Marching was, hands down, one of their best moments in the studio ever; from the beginning to the v...

Re: DMB Tabs Wikipedia type site - Ideas Needed

I like this idea a lot. Wiki sites are getting really popular, and they really are just a good idea. When you've go the entire community able to add to what's going on, it should make for some very accurate tabs. Even if there is a difference someone sees, it can just be listed as an "Can also be pl...

Re: Re:

[quote="littlefriend"]No fucking way is Stand Up better. Not by a long shot. And I like most of BW better than Everyday. Just barely, but still. Absolutely. Big Whiskey obviously doesn't come close to touching UTTAD, Crash, or BTCS, but it's infinitely better than Stand Up, and I've almost decided ...

They were still doing the longer version of Grey Street in 2000 weren't they?

That alone would push me over and make me order this. I love hearing versions of Grey Street before the shortened it.

I agree 100%. I've grown especially fond of #27.

[quote="Taylor2885"] Baby Blue, you mean? And yeah, it's one of the album's best I think. Right, I'm not sure why I was thinking Blue Eyes. But yeh, great song ... Trying for a particular tone...

I don't post questions on this board very often, in fact I don't post that often at all. Any, more to the point. I'm currently in the workings on an EP to start selling when I perform, and even try to get it up on some online stores to try and get my name out there, and even perhaps make a little bi...

Re: Big Whiskey D&T style (Audio DL)

Thank you very much for this.

I liked all of these songs on the album, but they sound so much better with just Dave & Tim. As much as it would break my heart if the band were to break up in the next few years, if Dave & Tim kept doing tours and playing together, I'd be happy.

Re: Audio DL COMPLETE SHOW: 6/20/09

I'm downloading it now, and I can't wait to listen to this and start remembering the night. This really was just an amazing show. Aside from the setlist being great, Dave's voice was really good that night, and sounded pretty strong for most of the show, and there weren't many moments of Jeff or Tim...

The show last night was amazing. Don't know who else might have been there, but I loved the set list, and their performance was just astounding.

Re: Random DMB Post Thread

Was listening to the studio of Stone... never really took the time to give Carter's drums a decent listen, but I gotta say I love his part in that song.

Re:

to be fair, the songs from btcs and the lillywhite sessions were all new songs written in the studio I can't say for sure about BTCS, but at the end of the day they did at least give the Lillywhite Session songs a chance on tour before making a final product... well, intent of making a final produc...
