Re: Advice on effects for a new D&T cover duo
Yeah I was just curious about the wah... Sooo...let's say I have a multieffect station with the delay option, not a pedal, AND the ernie ball vp...which would be the delay settings for a song like, say, Bartender? If you're tired of answering question, don't worry about it ;) I'll just have to exper...

Re: Advice on effects for a new D&T cover duo
Uhmm... I bought the ernie ball vp one yesterday (they didn't have the morley anyway) but I must say I can'get anything like Tim's volume swells...How does he manage to make the guitar sound like a breath instrument? When I use the pedal, the sound just goes higher and sharper (not in the musical te...

Re: Advice on effects for a new D&T cover duo
Got it, you're really helping me out! What about a wah pedal for the acoustic? Something not too expensive, but that 's still not going to blow up with feedback he moment I plug it in?

Advice on effects for a new D&T cover duo
Hi all! i'm about to start a new D&T cover duo with a friend of mine, we were planning on rehearsing Bartender, Two Step, #41, Lover Lay Down and Crash Into Me first... can you tell me anything about the settings Tim uses for his effects? (like the delay and volume swells on Bartender, or that sick ...

Tim's settings in Live At Luther College
Heya
Hope this is the right forum...
Could anyone tell me which guitar is Tim using in the Live at Luther's #41 version? And better, which kind of effects (if any) and settings he's using? I love the sound the solo has, so I was just wonderin'...

I know it's not out yet and probably won't be for some time, but it's the only Dave Matthews show I've ever been too and I MUST have it! As soon as someone has the bootlegs, can he send them to me?
Thanks a lot!!!!!

Dave's voice on last shows
hey, I happenede to watch a few clips on YouTube od Dmb's latest shows, like on 08/12 (can't remember where). Dave's voice is utterly wasted. Do we need to worry? Is he going to take a break, or are they just going to keep touring around, while he gets worse and worse?

dreaming tree
Heya, I know that the dreaming tree is an easy song and all that, but could any of you you show me exactly the chords changes in the lyrics?
I know it should be obvious since the chord rythm pretty much follows the singing pattern, but still I'm missing something...

Again another newbie two step question...
Hi this is my first post and I got to say these boards are mighty useful for learning dave's song.... I've been practicing two step for quite some time now, I've downloaded some of the audio samples some of you made on it, I've read and reread strumming hints you gave and things like that, but still...
