Also, when I get new strings should I just replace the G or should I replace all of them? These strings are 2 weeks old and I play about 1-2 hrs alm...

You can't really get into Dave sounding stuff until you have a firm grasp on the basics. I agree it took me quite some time to be able to strum Ants Marching. I remember I started playing by picking ...

Need advice on recording equipment
I want to be able to record directly to my computer. I was thinking about buying a M Box with the factory bundle. They are cheaper now because the M Box 2 came out. I think Pat uses one and his recordings are awesome. Also I want to get AKG Perception 200 Large-Diaphragm Condenser Mic, does anyone k...

I read frets.com and it really helped me a lot. That is a really good site. They said it doesnt matter and it is just a false tale that if you take all the strings off at once you will shock the neck unless you let the guitar sit with no strings for a really long time. Its so much easier to do it th...

Changing Strings
I am going to change my strings today but I have a quick question before I do. Should I take one string off at a time and then replace it to keep the tension on the neck? Or it doesnt matter if I just take them all off at once and then replace them?
