I've bought a few Cherry Lane books for Dave's albums, and I don't like them. Stick with DMBTabs, this site is much more accurate to the way Dave plays. The Cherry Lane books don't have too many "Dave Chords" in them. They try to break down the "Dave Chords" into standard open chords, or a basic bar...

Grey Street

I would suggest dreamingtree.org. There are a few torrents there of the Riverbend show. While you're there, download the Red Rocks concert. The setlists for each day (4 days) are excellent, as well as the quality.

The first few songs I leraned were Dancing Nancies, Two Step, Grey Street, Typical Situation, Fool to Think, Watchtower, and Crash Into Me to name a few. I think they are some of the easiest Dave songs to play.

Watchtower. It's easy, it sounds good played solo, and everyone knows it.

I never had trouble with the verse, it was the second chord to the chorus/bridge that I play different because I didn't like the progression that has been tabbed.
