The windscreen prevents puffing and blowing noise. The pop screen prevents spit from hitting the mic when you sing into it. Unfortunately, they don't work as one another. I mean, a windscreen will stop some of the spit, but not nearly as much as a dedicated pop filter. _____________________________...

All of that is solid gear. The mic preamps in Presonus gear are good, and everyone knows that Macs are great for multimedia stuff. I haven't used that mic, but the specs are good. There are a couple things I'd remind you not to forget. 1. A windscreen. [url=http://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/NT...
I hope I didn't come across as saying he needed another preamp. I know the Firebox is a multichannel pre. And you don't think the NT1-A would be a good vocal mic Andy? No i wasnt commenting on your mic choice, i think thats a great vocal mic, his original post implied that he only...
crutch? basically, if you learn to play guitar by following flashing lights, you will learn very quickly to depend on those. Also, I can't imagine being able to play at any significant speed by following lights. (As opposed to sheet music or even tab where you can read ahead.) [/...

Anybody learning/buying guitars should check this out...

Dont know if this is just a gimmick, but it looks to be a pretty good way of learning. It ranges from beginner stuff to full on improvised lead playing. Anybody got one?

learn it through experience and playing and you'll be ten times better than if you cram it using some shit computer program. eventually you'll just know where every note of a certain scale is located on the guitar. The notes that are not appropriate tend to be little "blackspots" on the fretboard th...

Nice work- whats your recording setup? I dont know about the metronome or whatever in the background- it kinda got anoying- i would have used a shaker at double time or something. I liked the little echos. Quite a different take on this song from what ive heard.

Probably on average 3-4 hours a day during the week. And sometimes on weekends 6-7 hours. My problem has been pa...
