Thanks for the responses guys. :)

Reckless, the chords I'm using in the end jam are basically variations on the main chords that dave uses in the verse:

Am Bm Em D

Instead of playing the chords high up on the neck in the open position, I'm using the power chord form of each down on the lower end.

Thanks very much! Yea, it's always been pretty difficult for me to get those falsettos to sound smooth. Unfortunately, most of the artists I love to cover implement this technique. :D

Beautiful song - I just had to learn it. It's off of Chaos and Creation in the Backyard (probably the best tune on that album!). Let me know what you think!

One of my favorites off of Continuum. A lot of little mistakes throughout, but this song is definitely challenging for me. Anyways, enjoy! :)

Great song you chose to cover, my friend! :) Guitar playing is solid, voice needs a little work, but otherwise great job! Try slowing down when you are practicing and focus on each note that you are singing a bit more.

Peace,

Elephant (Damien Rice) Cover

Here goes nothin'.... :)

Definitely a tough song to cover vocally... I had to make up my own chords to fit the range of my voice. I think it turned out okay. Let me know what you think!

Hey, I believe the chord is a variation of E minor:

E------0------
A------7------
D------5------
G------7------
B------8------
E------X------

A very overplayed song, but one of the most inspiring. The listener supported version is the best. Anyways, check it out if you get the chance.
