the thing with boyd is that in some shows i have he's more in tune than others. i agree, it can be rather hit or miss with him, and i dont consider it an offense to him or to his fans to say so. a bit of his detuned-ness comes from the nature of his instrument. i have the remarks of a good authority...

theres a pretty decent video of 5-4-02 where you can pretty clearly see dave playing LIOG (its the best version of LIOG i've ever seen/heard, as an extra plus). the video is pretty hard to find though. i have the clip of just LIOG, but it's 250 mb, so sending it is tough.
