Re: Break For It tab

Here's the actual placement of where Tim plays Break For It (Run While We Can). At least in the 2010 tour. Older version is slightly different. Re: Can a standard guitar be tuned to the Gryphon?

You can use the raised B guitar and capo it on 3rd fret, or on 1st for the baby blue sound. Cheapest way of getting that raised D sound.

Re: Good Loop Pedal?

I have an RC-20XL. It is actually pretty damn cool and easy to use. I can't exactly remember, but I think the RC-2 isn't as easy to use in certain situations because of the single pedal vs dual pedal. The only thing that I'm pissed off about is that I used mine for a couple hours and it is all F'd u...

Cheap Version of Veillette (raised d) guitar?

Hi, was curious if anyone knows of a cheap knockoff version of a veillette gryphon? Or at least a guitar that is tuned to raised d, possibly 12-string of any design?

Re: Squirm ( Dave solo)

I just wanted to add to this that he is indeed using his 12 String, tuned down 1 full step. This is an octave lower than the 12 string Veillette Dave uses, which is the same as capoing standard tuning on the 10th fret, or raised b tuning on the 3rd fret. Either way, he basically plays the same thing...

Baritone Break Free Tab

I am gonna to try to put all of my Baritone and Raised D songs together on here. Don't take these tabs too literally, they are only a guide of the chords and notes. I have two Epiphone Chet Atkins. I got one local and one off of eBay. The eBay one was about $400 Canadian and was well worth it. I got it a month ago and my Boston Terrier snapped the head off of the neck. I modified my other one to the Fishman Acoustic Matrix pickup and it sounds awesome. Wicked g...

I just watched Folsom Field and I am pretty damn sure that Dave is hitting 11-11-12 on the D String with his pinky, while muting the rest, not as described below:
D--9h11---9h11--9h11--------
A--X-------X------X------------
E--7-------7------ 7------------
B--------------------------------

So Right Tab

Just got a new Epiphone, Les Paul Baritione. I noticed that So Right on dmbtabs just doesn't sound so right. All of the mutes should be an open B string. Also the last three notes sound way off. Does anyone have better tab for this. I was trying the last 3 notes as 11-11-12 on the D string but I kno...

DVD for Alpine Valley 2005

I have about an hour and a half of 16:9 DVD footage of Alpine Valley, July 24/05. I was wondering if anyone was putting together a DVD that my footage could be added to. Some of it is pro and some is a little sloppy.

Also I was in search of any of the Alpine Valley 2004 or 2005 DVD's.

I have had my Epiphone Chet Atkins SST for about a year and a half. I am completely satisfied with my purchase. Of course I would rather have the Gibson version, but when you can get 4 Epiphones for the cost of one Gibson, do the math. This has got to be one of the hottest guitars out there.
