i also recommend the fender mexican telecaster or stratocaster. Got mine new from guitar center for 350. Love it. Very versatile guitar.

coldplay, maybe green eyes, the scientist. Like people have been saying you need to memorize the lyrics and be able to play the song without thinking about it. then you can focus on your singing. Mostly just practice.
